Quote Of The Day – Arthur C. Clarke

Today’s Quote Of The Day comes from Sir, Yes Sir Arthur C. Clarke (1917-2008), a British science fiction and science writer from Somerset, undersea explorer and television series host. And a knight, apparently. He is probably best known for co-writing the screenplay for 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Clarke relocated from England to Sri Lanka in 1956, where he lived until his death.

He was an avid scuba diver and in the 1980’s became the host of several televisions shows including Arthur C. Clarke’s Mysterious World, which explored unexplained phenomena from around the world. It could be said that Arthur really did put himself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. Daisy, Daisy….
