Quote Of The Day – Eric Roth

Today’s Quote Of The Day comes from Eric Roth (1945-), an American screenwriter originally from New York and now residing in Hollywoodland who won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Forrest Gump in 1994. (This blog is like a box of chocolates.) He also co-wrote Munich, The Insider, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Ali, A Star Is Born, and one of my personal favorites, The Concord…Airport ’79.

He was also part of the curious case of Bernie Madoff as one of the investors defrauded in his now infamous Ponzi Scheme and lost a bunch of money as a result. He’s said to be writing a screenplay about the scandal and obviously has a good (bad) first-hand perspective on the topic.
