Hug a Vet today (air hugs, from a distance, with masks) … but not the pet kind … although they’re cool too.

Today we celebrate Veterans Day, where we honor America’s armed services veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for our nation's common good. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t be enjoying the day to day freedom that we often take for granted. (Like having the right to vote, for example, in Georgia, for example, for everyone, for example.)

So if you know of anyone who has served or is currently serving in the forces, or if you see a veteran on the street today, please take a moment to say, “Thank you,” and wish them a happy Veterans Day. I’m sure it will make their day.
